About Us: AFLES is a highly progressive and motivated electrical contracting company that is concerned about the enviornment. We are a Veteran Owned Business and very appreciative of those who serve, have served, and those families who have paid that ultimate price with the loss of their loved one for our freedoms to include those who work in Emergency Medical Services and Civil Protection Services (Police, Fire/Rescue, and Paramedic Units). Our Team Leader is Timothy Terrell, who has passed the Experior Journeyman Electrician's Exam in 2003, as well as the Experior Master Electrician's Exam, in 2005. Mr. Terrell, briefly taught at the Columbia Area Career Center in the Evening Adult Program. He has been certified by Siemons in Fiber Optic and Copper Installation as well as received training as an Advanced Construction Specialist. Mr. Terrell holds an Associates Degree in Electronics and is certified in Solar/Wind/Hydro Generation Systems and is presently seeking National ranking, with the hopes of being a Certified Trainer. Mr. Terrell is a Certified Installer of Renewable Energy Resources. Recently, he completed the Missouri EPA Lead Abatement Supervisor Training Program. Mr. Terrell has over 15 years of electrical experience in various aspects ranging from residential to marine environments. AFLES is a Veteran Owned Small Business. We are listed with Duns and Bradstreet. We are listed on Vetbiz. We are registered with ORCA, SBA, Department of Veteran's Affairs, Vet Friends, and CCR. While AFLES is not currently associated with NECA or the IBEW, Mr. Terrell was a previous member of IBEW Local #257 located in Jefferson City, MO. At this time AFLES and Local 257 have no desire to affiliate with one another, but AFLES strongly encourages the finer aspects of unionism, which are; brotherhood, training, and professionalism. After all, Craftsmanship is all a tradesman can sell. We are registered with the Secretary of State as an LLC with a registered fictitious name. We are currently waiting on our Trademark, Service Mark, and Copy Right status. We are licensed in Columbia, Jefferson City, Kansas City and Fulton presently, and will be seeking a license in several other cities. We utilize an approved OSHA Guideline Safety Program. We demand rigorous code compliance measures, this ensures our customers that we will pass our inspections, each and every time. We provide quality material that has a history of being durable, safe, and dependable. We do our very best to ensure all materials installed are American Made, however, not all products can comply with this demand unfortunately and sometimes it is the customers that specify a particular item due to look and/or cost and that item is not made in America. |
